It had been a long day at the beach and me and my mom were craving something lemony. What other thing is there to bake than lemon scones? They were perfect and everyone loved them and the icing that we made for them (also in the recipie). The recipie was easy to follow and straightforward. The only complaint I have is that we had to bake our scones for about ten more minutes before they were fully baked through. Definetly deserve at least 4/5 stars if I had to rank them.

This cake is a pineapple carrot cake that I baked with my grandma for my mom's 36th Birthday for her "tropical themed" party. I decorated it all by myself and loved the recipie! We ran into no trouble exept 2 things. One was that we had to add almost one fourth a cup more powdered sugar to the icing to give it more flavor. The other was that we didn't have a collander so we had to drain the pinapple py pressing down on it with our hands and tilting it so that the juice would pour out.

While my brothers were on fortnite I was feeling bored so I asked my mom if I could bake something. She was unsure at first, but finally she said yes. We were about to bake snickerdoodle bars when this cake caught my eye. I love pumpkin and this cake was fabulous! The recipie was easy to follow and simple to obey. The cake itself was moist, light and fluffy. Some people disliked it's flavor, but most loved it. In fact, here is a direct quote from My brother, Elek. "Oh my god, Beata! If 0 is repulsive and 100 is heavan, this is a 97!" My little brother auggie, however scraped off his iciing and ate the cake part while saying "I don't really like this iceing." Meanwhile my mom won't stop saying, "mmm,Beata, this is really good" as my dad gets up for another piece. My only warning to give about this cake is that the iceing looks watery at first, but if you keep whipping it, it turns into more of a cool whip, so don't be fooled about it at first. Also, before iceing the cake wait for it to cool entirely because if you do it too early, the iceing will turn back into a liquid from the heat.
